If you like guys like Jay Farrar, Will Oldham and Richard Buckner - you will have a new friend in this guy and his music. This album is a nice show in cool alt-country style with Patricks cool raspy voice as the perfect companion. The album takes a couple of listens before it really grabs your attention but when it does - you'll have a favorite in your collection. There are a few tunes that are to lo-fi as "True Preachers" to satisfy my need, but when you hear songs like "Handful Of Rain" and the opening track "For Old House" you all understand the qualities this man sits on.
